I love great photographs of sporting events.

The Mail Online published this photograph taken by their own Graham Chadwick during a match played at Craven Cottage on March 11, 2009 between host Fulham and Blackburn Rovers.

The photograph won the Shot of the Season of the 2009 Barclays Photographic Awards. The short-listed photographs can be found at the Barclays Premier League Site.

Although a fine photograph, I prefer shots that don't depend on photographic tricks (like the pictures of streams you often see taken at a low-shutter speed. So, here are some of the other pictures posted by the photographers that made the short list that I like equally if not better.
