An adoring lunatic from America has a word or two for the whiny English press.
Dear English Press,
What's with this can’t-seem-to-get-over-the-Real-Madrid-thing with you guys? This time, Amy Lawrence of The Guardian gives us the observation that except for Manchester City, English football has not been a focal point of the summer transfer season, but instead is “little more than innocent bystanders as the transfer marketeers got down to serious work.”
Basically the Premier League this summer saw player transfers either out of the league or within the league, but not into the league from other countries.
Hey, the Prem can’t win the bridal bouquet toss every year.
So, get over it – you still have a great league with adoring lunatics all over the globe.
Signed,
Adoring Lunatic from America.
Next time I'll put on some lederhose and sing "Adelvice". That should shatter the Captain Von Trapp illusions most thoroughly..

Restaurants should realise that if they want customers to carry on dining out then they need to lower their prices. It's not rocket science.
